TriniNation Posts/UpdatesScholarships from the Government eh?3 December 2009 - 9:20am — adminI refer to the Trinidad Express Article I GOT NO MONEY Half a Million dollars in assistance, imagine that! I have to wonder if these people were so poor that they could not afford tertiary education because I certainly know poor people who may have needed this assistance and there's something else I notice about those names but I won't say it here.
Ministry of Education in Trinidad crazy or dotish? Which one?27 November 2009 - 5:50am — adminI refer to this article in the Trinidad Express paper No sick leave for teachers Since when the Government of Trinidad and Tobago via a ministry could show so much stupidity. This to me seems to be an infringement on the rights of teachers to protect/strike and for some of these teachers who could have been ill, this is taking away their fair right to stay home if ill. If the Ministry of Education could display so much lack of intelligence, can we expect any better from teachers? Start at the top of the problem!
DISAPPOINTED with North Business Community in Trinidad24 November 2009 - 11:04pm — adminSo CHOGUM is around the corner and the planned strike on Monday and Tuesday was met with ignorance by many of the North business community. As usual, what I am about to say may aggravate alot of these people so if you are one of them, you have the chance to not read this article. Firstly, why is the business community especially in North Trinidad not supporting these strikes? I bet you if they raised the price of diesel the business community would want to strike (or take advantage of the public buyers by increasing their product prices by 5-10 times). In fact, I would go as far to say that many in the business communities these days are criminals in a specific context. Nothing is wrong with acceptable profit but don't tell me you go and buy a cheap produce made in China and then mark it up by 1000%, that's just plain wrong - I think its an injustice to society!
Abuse of police priveledges! This is why nobody likes the law.6 October 2009 - 12:12am — adminToday, about 30 minutes or so ago, I was in the Gulf City area.... actually, closer to Modern Secondary School which is opposite ASJA girls. Anyways, so I was in traffic on the 3 lane (with ASJA being on the road to my left). All of a sudden a police van decides he is too important to be in this traffic so he puts on his siren to pass through the traffic. I then see this foolish policeman drive into the traffic pile up where people are picking up their children only to assume that this jack is going to selfishly pick up his child first. Now tell me, how can Trinidad be any good if the police abuse the law. No wonder people migrating - the lawlessness starting with the law now. NOTE: This message is only for the bad police staff. Not the few good ones that try to uphold the law and get fire for it.
Why is the Mayaro stretch still without pipe born water?6 October 2009 - 12:01am — adminHey guys and gals, so there a few issues I have in my mind and most of the times I forget to write about them. Well, I remembered this one to ask Why is the stretch between Rio Claro and Mayaro still without pipe born water? I mean, come on, have you tried to bathe with a bucket recently? I personally don't think its absolutely sanitary since you end up dirtying the water with your hands and then you bathe with the dirty water. What's amazing is that apparently its been YEARS now that this situation has not be rectified as yet... WATER IS A NECESSITY. Instead of WASA paying for television advertisements, maybe they should use that money to help finance the project and get water to these people! Its time these companies spend their money for the people... or perhaps more intelligently!
