FLOOD in POS - AGAIN!!
18 November 2008 - 4:12pm — Raven
So our capital flooded out AGAIN yesterday.... Chaos in terms of traffic - I heard people were at a stand still for sometimes more than an half an hour. And in my view yes it did rain for some time but to me it wasn't even "storm type" rain. So what the hell is the Port Of Spain City corporation and the Ministry Of Works really doing??? I really would like to see that during the Summit of the Americas that is due to take place next year that all these world leaders get to see for themselves what the average man has been forced to endure. And as for this drive to 2020 1st world status - i think we are actually going backwards towards that goal |
Raven, I does wonder the
Raven, I does wonder the same thing, POS is the city that basically represents Trini in terms of business and the place flooding out with a little bit of rain. This have a lot to do with the drainage system which they apparently not taking care of OR a set of litter bugs that obviously not obeying the law and causing these flooding situation. In both cases, the situation needs to be addressed.
I see the flood on the news,
I see the flood on the news, wheyyyyyy boy, it was real bad, I hope today don't rain so much again yes, I sorry for all yuh POS workers and commuters
Yes be sorry for us. It
Yes be sorry for us.
It took me 4 friggin hours to reach home (D'Abadie) yesterday.
All I have to say is THANK GOD that I am blessed to own a good working car, that was able to survive those flood waters yesterday.
Now I can't wait to see how those idiots are going to position those "Baily" (probably spelt it wrong)bridges over the collaspe area on the Highway.
Based on what I saw this morning I really can't see how those big trailer trucks will be able to pass over that nah.....
So to all my "Northern" Trinination people - prepare for some real preassure on an afternoon.
