I refer to this article in the Trinidad Express paper No sick leave for teachers

Since when the Government of Trinidad and Tobago via a ministry could show so much stupidity. This to me seems to be an infringement on the rights of teachers to protect/strike and for some of these teachers who could have been ill, this is taking away their fair right to stay home if ill.

If the Ministry of Education could display so much lack of intelligence, can we expect any better from teachers? Start at the top of the problem!

Today, about 30 minutes or so ago, I was in the Gulf City area.... actually, closer to Modern Secondary School which is opposite ASJA girls. Anyways, so I was in traffic on the 3 lane (with ASJA being on the road to my left). All of a sudden a police van decides he is too important to be in this traffic so he puts on his siren to pass through the traffic. I then see this foolish policeman drive into the traffic pile up where people are picking up their children only to assume that this jack is going to selfishly pick up his child first. Now tell me, how can Trinidad be any good if the police abuse the law. No wonder people migrating - the lawlessness starting with the law now.

NOTE: This message is only for the bad police staff. Not the few good ones that try to uphold the law and get fire for it.
